Short videos of the welding machine installing

 This article contains the following:

  1. Focusing the welding gun
  2. Replace the protective lens
  3. Replace the focus lens
  4. Air pressure gauge setting (We didn't make a video for the SEM model because the instruction manual has very detailed setup steps)
  5. Chiller Setting
  6. The way to open the cabinet door of the machine

1. If the focus deviation is large, it will make the power decay when welding. Therefore we need to find the right focal point for the welding head gun.

2. Replace the protective lens.

When the protective lens is damaged by spatter slag generated during the welding process, or when there are stains stuck to the lens, heat can quickly collect on the lens. This affects the welding effect. Or it causes the temperature of the torch to exceed the warning line and stop working. At this point, we need to replace the protective lens.

Timely replacement of the protective lens can avoid more damage to the internal structure of the welding head gun.

Key points:

  • Dust protection
  • Two protective lens are the same, only need to replace the broken one.
  • Do not touch the surface of the protective lens with hands.
  • If the surface of the lens is dusty, you can blow it off with Compressed Air Dusters.
3. Replace the focus lens

When the focusing lens is damaged, we need to replace it.

Or we need to change focus lens to F600 before convert welding function to cleaning (rust removal) function. And change it back if we want to convert cleaning function to welding function.

Key points:

  • Dust protection
  • Do not touch the surface of the protective lens with hands.
  • If the surface of the lens is dusty, you can blow it off with Compressed Air Dusters.
  • In the current version of the 3 in 1 welding machine, the Focus lensfor welding(F150) is slightly thicker than focus lens for cleaning (F600). Therefore, inside the F600 assembly, there is a very small thin spacer, please do not lose it.
  • Convex surface of the lenstowards the rear end (opposite direction of the torch nozzle)
  • Dimples on components towards the rear end (opposite direction of the torch nozzle)

4. Our welders are equipped with an Air pressure gauge, which is a very rare feature in the market. Its function is to measure the air pressure of the protective gas in real time. It signals the system to shut down in case of low pressure. This protects the entire welding system.

We generally only need to set two values: Lower limit of air pressure and upper limit of air pressure.

5. Chiller Setting

This video shows how to set up the Operating system B Chiller.   Operating system A Chiller is set up in the same way.

The differences are:

In operating system A, F01 is normal temperature water temperature difference

In operating system B, F04 is normal temperature water temperature difference

6. Open the cabinet door of the welding machine
